I am looking at Disney lanyards for our trip. Which kind is best for Disney? The clear plastic pouch or the nylon zipper pouch. There is not much to pick from at the Disney store. Is there a place that sells a large variety? I would like something unique.

    Hi, Kathie!

When I wear a lanyard at Walt Disney World, I prefer any type which seals, be it a zipper, snap or some other method. This assures me that nothing will slip out as I'm touring the parks.

Once you get to Walt Disney World, you might want to purchase your lanyard there, as you'll likely find a lot more variety. Check out the shop at your resort, the World of Disney store  or Disney's Pin Traders at Downtown Disney's Marketplace area, or even a shop or kiosk upon arrival at your first park. You're sure to find the perfect pick for your stay and you'll have a souvenir from your trip, too.

Once you have your lanyard, you might just want to add a collectible pin, too. Whether you'd like to commemorate your trip or dip into the world of pin trading, you'll find some wonderful options just about anywhere you go in WDW. We'll pick up a pin to mark a current holiday, the resort we call home for the week, a new favorite attraction or a character playing a family-favorite sport. Of course, I can never get my kids to pin trade...their pins are so cherished, we call the kids pin collectors.

...and it all started with...the lanyard.

Happy shopping! I'm sure you'll love your lanyard options in Walt Disney World!

Send more questions as you think of them, too, Kathie. We love to help!
