    Hiya Wendy, welcome to planDisney!

Here at planDisney, we are Guests just like you who have learned through experience how to plan the most unforgettable Disney vacations. Whether it is crafting a Lightning Lane strategy, picking the perfect viewing spot for Happily Ever After, finding those must-try snacks, or helping choose the Disney Resort Collection hotel that best fits your style and budget, we love sharing our tips. One thing we cannot do is actually book anything for you, but I am more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Planning a Disney trip can be fun, even when figuring out accommodations for a large party like yours. Since you are traveling with six adults and three children, let’s look at the options.

The Disney Resort Collection is made up of four main categories. Value Resorts offer budget-friendly accommodations with plenty of theming and fun, while Moderate Resorts provide a nice balance of comfort and amenities. Deluxe Resorts take it up a notch with signature dining, more spacious rooms, and prime locations near the parks. Finally, Deluxe Villas offer studio, one, two, and even three-bedroom options that include full kitchens, living areas, and laundry, perfect for larger groups or those who prefer to spread out a bit.

For a party of your size, the simplest way to keep everyone under one roof is to book a two or three-bedroom villa at one of the Deluxe Villa Resorts. These villas feature multiple bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a full kitchen and washer and dryer, making them feel like a true home away from home. Another option would be to book multiple rooms at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, and then place a request to be close together. While requests cannot be guaranteed, Cast Members do their best to accommodate. If you like the playful side of Disney, a Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort can also be a great choice, but since these only sleep up to six, you would still need at least two rooms.

Since your vacation is scheduled for November, which falls during the popular holiday season, availability may be more limited. At this time, one option I recommend exploring is Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, which offers both two-bedroom villas and the unique Treehouse Villas. The Treehouse Villas are especially magical because they sit nestled among the trees, offering a truly one-of-a-kind setting. Each has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone to gather. It feels both private and convenient, as you are still close to Disney Springs for dining and entertainment.

If you decide to split your group into two reservations, your options expand. For example, one reservation could include four adults, and the other two adults with the three children. Resorts such as Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are all wonderful choices. Each has its own unique theme, location, and dining experiences that could complement your plans.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction, Wendy. If you would like me to dig deeper into your options, let me know whether you are leaning toward one large villa or multiple rooms, and I would be happy to offer more specific suggestions based on your budget and itinerary. Sometimes the best choice comes down to which park you plan to spend the most time in, since that makes midday breaks or quick pool time much easier.

    TTFN,
