Ahoy Stephanie!
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for you! Am I correct that you are a
first time Disney cruiser? How truly exciting! Instead of the Black Pearl, the Disney Dream will be your pirate vessel for adventures at sea. Only this time, Captain Mickey will be at the helm!
I can SEA why you want to make sure your pirate-in-training gets to spend time in the
"it's a small world!" nursery. You are correct that
Castaway Club members who have more nautical miles on their sail trackers get priority for booking things like port adventures, spa treatments, and nursery time. However, you are already a savvy buccaneer in even knowing about pre-booking, and I think the 75 day window is more than ample time to chart a course to a reservation.
While your kiddo enjoys the stimulating environment of the nursery, plan a romantic dinner at
Palo or
Remy. These adult-exclusive restaurants are the true dining treasures on Disney Cruise Line for ambiance and stellar cuisine. Drink up and eat up me hearties because every bite is brilliance! Log onto My Reservations and when your Advance Booking Window has opened at that 75 day mark, you can reserve nursery time AND dinner reservations. While Palo and Remy are an additional charge, I have found that they have also been the meals that we savored most and still reminisce about to this day.
If you are in need of a pirate map with deck plans or a schedule of all the swashbuckling activities onboard, then I recommend the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app; it's ARRRguably the best tool to keep track of all the fun! And be sure to throw pirate gear into your suitcase for the fun-loving
Pirate Night, including the ever-popular Pirates in the Caribbean deck party and fireworks at sea. Even Captain Jack would approve!
Hoist the Jolly Roger if you have any other questions for us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel-we want nothing but smooth sailing for you in your cruise planning!
