Greetings, Tasha, and May the Force Be With You!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for coming to us with your question and I would be happy to help you plan an immersive Star Wars day at Disneyland Park.
The Disney Imagineers have really outdone themselves when they designed
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Walking through Black Spire Outpost, you'll feel as if you are IN the Star Wars Universe. Kylo Ren and his First Order Stormtroopers are always on the lookout for Resistance sympathizers. Fennec Shand makes her rounds through the Marketplace for Boba Fett, ensuring that order is maintained. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the Mandalorian along with Grogu by his side!
In order to make the most of your day, I would recommend arriving early to attend Rope Drop. This allows you to get an early start on one of the most highly anticipated and popular attractions in the park,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Wait times for this attraction can get pretty high during the day. You might also consider bypassing the standby queue by purchasing an
Individual Lightning Lane for this experience. You’ll also have a chance to pilot the fastest ship in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Even though he’s the one who sends you on your mission, I don’t know if I’d totally trust that Hondo Ohnaka.
For your meals, I would recommend the Ronto Morning Wrap from
Ronto Roasters for breakfast. If you'd like to sample exotic alien drinks from around the galaxy, stop by
Oga's Cantina and mingle with the locals. Please note that this experience requires a
dining reservation, which can be made 60 days in advance. Finally, one of my favorite counter-service eateries is
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. I've enjoyed many a meal from there!
In order to maximize your time, I would recommend downloading the
Disneyland Mobile App and
mobile ordering your food directly from your phone when possible. You'll also be able to link your entire party's tickets all on one phone to make scanning tickets and booking Lightning Lanes easier. If you really want to immerse yourselves, download the
Play Disney Parks app for the Star Wars: Datapad feature for interactive games. If you have a
MagicBand+, you'll also get to join the
Bounty Hunter's Guild and chase down wayward bounties around Black Spire Outpost.
I realize that's a lot of information, but I hope you found this useful, Tasha. Please
write me again if you'd like me to elaborate on anything I've covered.
This Is The Way.
