Hi Kris -
Welcome to the Moms Panel and thank you for visiting us with your question. A Disney Cruise for your family is such an awesome choice for a vacation. There's so much to do and so much to see. It's an action packed getaway that comes with so much value that your family is sure to have a grand time.
Captain Mickey doesn't want to leave anyone out. So, everyone is counted as an individual member of your family. All family members, aged 0 and up, will be counted as an individual person in your reservation. At this current time, the staterooms accommodate a maximum of 5 people only. The Suites are bigger (and much more expensive), but will accommodate more. Your alternate choice will be to try and book 2 staterooms instead - possibly adjoining rooms, that will allow much more space for your 6-member family, as well as offer a 2nd bathroom. My family and I have stayed in one of the deluxe family staterooms (max 5) and it's pretty challenging to actually have 6 people in there, even if 1 member of the family is an infant. Unfortunately, you won't be allowed to all stay in 1 stateroom.
I hope that you can make an option work so that the accommodations will fit your family. You might want to play around with the link to
Find a Cruise, so that you can also check out various prices depending on when and where you want to sail. You can compare the prices for inside staterooms as well as different category staterooms online.
Please let us know if you have other questions that we can try and help you with. Take it easy!
