Hi there, Harry, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It will be here in just a few short weeks, and now is a great time to finalize your plans for dining.
Harry, there are a few ways to make an
Advance Dining Reservation. When using a computer, head to the
Yachtsman Steakhouse page. Click "Check Available Days," and enter your party size and the date range you're considering. Then, you will see all of the available times for your party size. If you don't see any available times, keep checking back to see if any other Guests have canceled their reservations. If you have a large party, consider splitting into smaller groups.
If you're using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click the "+" button at the bottom of your screen, click "Check Dining Availability," and enter your party and date information. This will show you a listing of all available reservations at that time. They're listed alphabetically, so scroll all the way down to see the times at Yachtsman Steakhouse.
Did you know that you can actually start making Advance Dining Reservations 60 days before the day you check in? Planning this far in advance can give you a greater chance of securing reservations at your desired time, especially for dining locations that are in high demand. Keep in mind that a credit card is required to hold your reservation, so have that ready when you're booking. This doesn't have to be the card that you pay with when you dine, and it's only charged if you fail to cancel your reservation more than two hours in advance.
If you're arriving by car, you'll enjoy complimentary parking at Disney's Yacht Club Resort during your dinner. If you plan to use Disney transportation, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to make the journey so that you aren't stressed about arriving on time. I suggest taking the
Disney Skyliner - you'll feel like Tarzan swinging through the trees!
Harry, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
Bon appetit!
