Looking to make dinner reservations and watch the parade at night! How do I do that?

Hello there, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy you stopped by with your dining question. I'm happy to help!

It's the merriest time of year at Disneyland Resort! I hope you are getting excited about your visit. Two of my favorite things are food and entertainment, so you've asked a great question! Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance either through the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app. You are well within your window, so hopefully you can find something to book! I would recommend the Plaza Inn Dining Package, which would give you dinner and a reserved viewing spot for A Christmas Fantasy Parade; however, the dining package doesn't seem to be available during your stay. If you do not see dining options, don't give up! Reservations may be booked right now, but a day or two before your visit, spots will open up a lot of times as Guests make last minute changes.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade is celebrating 30 years this holiday season! If you are hoping for a spot on Main Street, Guests tend to try to get front row spots an hour or two before. You'll also find some great viewing over by "it's a small world". I do want to make sure you pay attention to the Daily Events Schedule for your date. The parade will have adjusted times that are a little earlier that day than the usual daily schedule for the parade.

Joseph, I hope this information helps you plan out your day! If you have any other questions for us, you know where to come back to!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
