    Looking for dinner character dining. We are arriving Monday afternoon 2/3/14 (going to the park tuesday) and want to do character dining that evening. Where can we eat if we havent gone yet to a park? Thanks!

    Hi Alysse!

         There are some amazing restaurants in Walt Disney World that are located outside the four theme parks!  I will give you three incredible character dining restaurants first and then three that I love that do not have characters but are a dining experience

    Character dining:

    Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort

    Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort

    1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

    My favorite non character dining at a Resort:

    Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge Resort

    Kona Cafe or 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort

    Boma:Flavors of Africa at the Animal Kingdom Resort

    Once you decide on where you are going to eat on your first evening of your Walt Disney World vacation, please come back and ask us Moms and Dads another question on how to get there by using the Disney Transportation System.
