I was looking at the dining plans and they seemed to have changed from our last trip in 2012. My questions are 1) has dessert been cut from the quick service plan? 2) can you use 2 quick service credits for 1 table service?

Happy New Year, Renae, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel too! How exciting to be planning a trip back to "The Most Magical Place On Earth". Like you, I was also at Walt Disney World Resort in 2012, and so much has changed since you've last been there, but it's just as magical and memorable as it ever was before. Be sure to check out Pandora - The World of Avatar which opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2017, as well as Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios which opened just a few months ago in the summer of 2018!

Since you've last been to Walt Disney World Resort, there have been a few small changes to the Disney Dining Plan, but it still works in pretty much the way same as it did before. While there used to be a dessert included with your meal when you used a Quick-Service dining credit, it has been replaced with a second Snack credit for you to use whenever you want. My family loves the flexibility of this change because it lets us choose when and where we want to eat. My husband has a sweet tooth and usually uses a Snack credit to have dessert with his meal, but I like to skip dessert and get some popcorn later in the day! While you can't combine two Quick-Service credits for a Table-Service credit, you are able to convert a Quick-Service credit into three Snack credits at the Front Desk of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

    Happy Snacking!
