Was looking at dining plan promotion and noticed my travel dates Feb18-23/11 are blackout dates. Is it super busy during this week, what U.S. holiday etc is going on to make them blackout dates?Taking friend for 1st time don't want it to be too busy

    Hi Patricia,

Thanks for writing.  President's Day takes place during the period of time you mentioned, and many schools in the US have off either on the actual holiday (Monday, February 21st) or for the entire week.  As you can guess, when kids have off from school, many families head to Walt Disney World for a vacation.  My family has travelled to Disney several times this week, and while the parks and resorts were certainly more crowded than during value (low) seasons, they were absolutely manageable.  By calling in advance, we were able to secure most of our preferred dining reservations and special events.  If you are looking for more moderate crowd levels, and are able to change your trip to the week after, you could, however, if that's the only week you are able to travel, by all means, go!

    Have a magical trip!
