I am looking into the dessert parties for Plaza Garden. It seems most of the time, Once Upon a Time follows Happily Ever After. Will we be able to stay & see Once Upon a Time at Plaza Garden? Or do people go to the dessert party and view from there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Heather!

Evening entertainment is the perfect send off after a long day in the parks. I love to find a place to stand, just on the edge of Main Street, U.S.A. right before Cinderella Castle. It’s one of my favorite areas to watch Once Upon A Time and Happily Ever After.

After checking with Fairy Godmother, I was told that the Plaza Garden Viewing area is reserved for those Guests who have made reservations for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. If you enjoy your sweets like I do, I highly recommend making a reservation for the dessert party. The party begins at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant where you will be able to enjoy a tempting array of freshly prepared desserts, seasonal fruits, and flavorful cheeses. From there, you will then be escorted to a prime standing area in the Plaza Garden for priority viewing.

Ending your day at Magic Kingdom Park with delectable desserts and enchanting fireworks is the perfect nighttime spectacular! Keep in mind, reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days prior to your arrival. I hope this helps you decide if a dessert party is something you do want to enjoy. I’m sure no matter what you decide, your day at Magic Kingdom Park will be a memorable one!

    Go the Distance!
