Ahoy John,
How exciting to be looking to book a cruise coming up so soon! I am happy to help you to think about the
documentation you will need when you are sailing with Disney Cruise Line.
You mention that you are looking to cruise on the
Disney Wish in November, so I am assuming that you are looking at a cruise that both departs from and ends in
Port Canaveral. If this is true, and you are a United States citizen, you should be able to do that cruise with an original or copy of a state-issued birth certificate AND a physical government-issued photo ID.
These requirements are listed on the
passport and travel documentation webpage for Disney Cruise Line. I do suggest that you review that page carefully to ensure which category you and your cruise fit into, as well as details on these requirements. Please note that the requirements are based on government regulations and are subject to change. You can also
call Disney Cruise Line to chat with a Cast Member about your specific situation.
I do hope that you are able to take this sailing, John. We cruised recently on the Disney Wish and had such a wonderful time! One highlight for us was
The Bayou. This lovely space was a great place to relax. We were able to enjoy cocktails and beignets, along with live music! We also enjoy the Broadway-style shows in the
Walt Disney Theater.
The Little Mermaid was a particular favorite for us onboard the Disney Wish. What a fun show to see while you are at sea!
I hope that this information is helpful for you, John. Please feel free to sail on back with any further questions that you have in planning your magical adventure!
