Looking at 4-day cruise in Feb 2010. We usually eat early and son goes to sleep before 9:00pm. Any way of knowing which dining seating will be assigned prior to booking? If we get stuck with late seating, any suggestions on how we can make it work?

At booking, you will request your preferred dining time. Main (early) seating or Late seating. If Main Dining is not available, take these steps:

Ask to be put on the waitlist for Main Dining. That way, if there are any cancellations prior to your cruise, you'll get the desired seating even before you board the ship.

It is much easier to accommodate smaller parties so if your traveling with just your immediate family, it may be possible to switch from Late to Main seating once you are aboard the ship.

If you do not hear before your cruise that you've been switched from Late to Early dining, then you'll need to make the request on Embarkation day. Requests are usually taken beginning at 1:00 p.m. so be sure to board as early as possible. See your Welcome Aboard Personal Navigator for details.

Disney Cruise Line strives to accommodate guests at their preferred dining times but each cruise is very different. Requests are dependent on the number of kids on board, large family reunion groups, etc.

Flexibility is key on vacation and DCL offers many options for meals.
