Hello, we are looking to take my daughter who will be 3 next year to Disney however unfortunately we are tied in to booking in school holidays due to my job, Easter I have hers is possibly the most buisest time. What is October half term like?

    Kelly,

You have heard correctly, Easter and spring break are traditionally one of the busiest and most crowded times at the parks.  Mid-October can be moderate in crowd level, but in my opinion, it is not unmanageable. It is actually one of my favorite times to go there. That time of year has some steady traffic from Epcot's Food and Wine Festival and some schools around the country do have fall breaks. However, I think with some careful planning, you will find that October is a good time to go. The weather is fairly nice with average temperatures in the mid to high 70s.

Another benefit to going in October is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!  I think your daughter will be at a great age to enjoy dressing up in costume and experiencing this magically delightful time at Walt Disney World.  The decorations are plentiful with fun surprises around every corner!

I hope this helps in your planning and please feel free to come back and ask me more questions.  We're always here to to help!
