I absolutely love where your head is at, I mean what better way to celebrate the most magical time of the year than in the most Magical place on Earth right? There is so much to enjoy and experience with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party that we can get into but first, let's talk about the dates and expectations.
So to back up a bit, last year was the return of the Christmas celebration but different than it had been with
Disney's Very Merriest After Hours Event in Magic Kingdom. This was a different version of the beloved Christmas celebration due to COVID, but a great option and special celebration nonetheless. The Halloween party had the same feel to it but this year we have confirmed from Disney the return of
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. Rumors abound that we should expect the return of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but alas they are only rumors at this point. Disney has neither confirmed nor denied that the Christmas party will be returning and in what capacity so we are anxiously awaiting any word either way.
Disney Parks Blog will be the way to check back to see the status of the Christmas celebration.
The Christmas celebration and holiday decor usually goes up quickly after Halloween around November 1st and run through December. I would expect Disney to give some sort of announcement on the status and expectations towards mid to end of summer. You can keep up with the news on Disney Parks Blog to get word on expectations for this holiday season. The one great thing they did with the Halloween party, is to announce its return and then give a date in the future that tickets will be on sale to help with planning. Hopefully, this is the same if any announcement is made with the Christmas party.
Disney Parks Blog will also be the place to check on details of the party as well. In the past, Disney has been able to have special parades, shows, "snow" on Main Street U.S.A. and so many other Magical holiday touches. These offerings were not all available last year for the celebration so keep up with Disney Parks Blog to hear the details once announced!
