Hey there, Ben!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hEAR that you're planning a Disney cruise, especially from Port Canaveral. Let's get this party started by talking about your stateroom details.
The concept of
connecting staterooms is a brilliant idea, isn’t it? Kind of like creating your very own family suite! As an added bonus, the Oceanview staterooms with Verandahs have some extra outdoor space to offer, and you can ask your stateroom host to remove the partition between the verandahs to create a larger balcony space. Having done this before, I can say that it makes for an excellent place to gather, share the day’s adventures, and take in the scenic views. My friends and I did this with our three verandahs on our
Disney Dream cruise and we felt like VIPs of Captain Mickey as we sailed away!
After doing some digging, I found out that for almost all the
aft staterooms, the verandah partitions can be removed between connecting staterooms...unless you happen to have a stateroom located next to a maintenance area. So to be completely sure, I suggest
calling Disney Cruise Line and they can look up your exact stateroom number to verify this for you.
With all this talk of aft staterooms with verandahs, I think you will find their location to be unparalleled. From having a great view of your destinations to a generally bigger balcony, aft staterooms have more bang for your Disney dollars. Ben, enjoy planning your cruise with Captain Mickey and his friends. And don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney anytime!
Bon Voyage!
