Ahoy there, Daniel! Welcome aboard planDisney! I see you are doing all your provisioning and exciting adventure planned for later this year, and I'm so glad you thought to ask us your questions!
One of my favorite things about a Disney vacation is the flexibility that comes with the planning process! From deciding which Disney Resort Collection hotel to stay in, or which cruise itinerary to book, to researching all the incredible activities that are "just around the river bend," the waiting is almost as fun as the trip!
Ok, so maybe not really as fun as the vacation itself, but the anticipation and excitement that comes with planning are so invigorating - it's why my fellow planDisney Panelists and I are where we are today, helping Guests just like you make magical memories!
I'm pleased to report that while there isn't an official payment plan, in most cases you can definitely make payments over time as you see fit! My family and I usually make a reservation and pay our deposit to secure our stateroom and
itinerary, and then during check out we make note of when our final payment is due. Once we know that date, we usually divide the rest of the payments by the number of months to go in our countdown, and poof - instant "payment plan!"
We have found that this is a great way to budget for our vacations, and helps us concentrate on the fun we'll be having rather than the price tag! As our cruise gets closer, we can check our progress under the "My Reservations" section of the website or in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! When it comes to sending food, unfortunately, this is not something that Guests can do. With the amount of food available around the ship - and nearly all of it included in the price of your vacation, I've never had the need! If you have special dietary needs that you want to ensure are taken care of, I suggest
getting in touch with Special Services using the form available on the website! Hopefully that helps you set a course for your upcoming adventure, Daniel! I can't wait for you and your crew to set sail! Thank you so much for your question, and if you think of any others as you continue your planning, please send another message in a bottle my way!
May your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
