I am looking at a cruise in early 2026. My oldest will have just turned 11. Can he join his siblings in the oceaneer clubs or will he be forced to go to the tween club alone?

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! Thank you for stopping by with your question.

The age requirements for the Youth Activities are strictly enforced for the safety of the young Guests.  Guests ages 3 to 10 years will need to go to Disney's Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab, and Guests ages 11 to 14 go to Edge.  They can spend time together in the same Youth Activities space during Open House, which will be listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. My tween son goes to Edge alone but meets new people to hang out with each cruise we go on.  He likes to team up with others to play video games or go on Scavenger Hunts around the ship. He loves it!

The Navigator app will list all of the onboard activities once you embark so you all can plan even more activities to do together. They can see a movie in the Buena Vista Theatre, have their pictures taken with their favorite Disney characters during meet and greets, or do karaoke together.  There is so much to do on Disney Cruise Line!

Jennifer, if you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney.  We are here to help.

    Adventure is out there!
