We are loOking at Coronado springs and carribean beach for our December trip. Which resort do you prefer and why? We have 3 kids and also parents and grandparents going with so looking for short walks to bus stop. Thanks so much!!!!!

For a December trip, Ashley, I'd probably recommend Coronado Springs over Caribbean Beach.  In my opinion, a holiday trip would feel more festive with Coronado's southwestern-inspired decor over the tropical decor at Caribbean Beach.  I also appreciate that Coronado Springs features an extensive food court, sit-down restaurant and casual outdoor bar.  The bar overlooks the water and is a lovely (family-friendly) place to come together for a beverage (non-alcoholic drinks for the kiddos, of course) while enjoying on the the cozy seating areas at The Laguna Bar.

Both resorts are sprawling.  The good news, however, is that bus stops are always located within convenient walking distance from all of the resort rooms.  If you have special needs with regards to the grandparents, you can even request a room that would be especially close.  I hope you have a magical trip!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
