Hi there. We are looking at coming to walt disney world in june 2012. We are a group of 6. 2 couples, a single and a 2 year old. Where would you recommend the best place to stay is? and which dining plan would you recommend if any?

    Hi Victoria!

My favorite Disney Deluxe Resorts are the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian, the Beach Club, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside followed by Port Orleans French Quarter.

My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.

With regards to a Disney Dining Plan, some guests save a lot of money by being on one, while some guests only save a little bit of money, and some guests actually spend more!  Unfortunately, I can't tell you if it will be good for your party or not, but I do have a recommendation.  I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  The team at All Ears does a great job keeping their information current.  There you can find all of the Quick Service and Table Service Restaurants' menus, including prices.  Then you can do the math to determine if being on a Disney Dining Plan is a good thing for your party.

Good luck with your decisions and write back if you have any more questions!
