We are looking at coming to Disney World either towards the last half of October or the first half of November. Are there any free dinning plan specials or any other specials? Would October or November be better? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hello Kimberly,

In my opinion, this is a great dilemma to have! I absolutely love that time of year at Disney World.

In October, you have Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom. Dress up with your favorite Pirates, Princesses, and ghouls for a night of fun. But if the white fluffy stuff is more your speed, Disney World begins to decorate for the winter holidays come the first week of November. And you can celebrate the season with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Crowd levels are about the same for both months and are quite manageable. And same goes for weather. As a midwest girl, I know I really love the fall Florida temperatures when I've visited in the past. So really, it's a matter of which season you enjoy the most!

And while we do not know if the very popular free dining option will be offered by Disney this fall, you can always keep an eye out here on the Moms Panel site and on Disney's Special Offers page for the latest discounts.

    Happy trip planning!
