We're looking at coming to Disney in August 2012. Is it too early to book it and if there is a better deal later, can I rebook it to get the better deal? I'm concerned with waiting to book it but then don't want to wait til the last minute either.

Hi Janet! I definitely recommend booking at least six months in advance. That's mainly because advanced dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance and you definitely will want to do that for the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World. If Disney comes out with a discount in the future, you can call Disney and try to get it applied to your reservation. Disney only allows you to use one discount at a time, and not all will be applicable. Disney won't automatically apply a discount, so you will have to keep your eyes and ears open! I hope this helps! Write back if you have any more questions!
