If you are looking to collect your own luggage when you arrive at the airport in Orlando, do you not put the luggage tags on that Disney provide you with?

Hi Lucy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your Walt Disney World Resort holiday is right around the corner! It sounds like you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and I bet you can't wait to see all of the Christmas decorations that will be around the resort. It really is "the most wonderful time of the year!"

When using Disney's Magical Express transportation from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel, the special luggage tags are used to designate the luggage that Cast Members are to retrieve and transport to your room. Since you want to collect them yourself, you do not need to use the luggage tags. Once you arrive in Orlando, head to baggage claim to pick-up your bags. You will then make your way to Disney's Magical Express check-in podium. When it is time to board your bus, a Cast Member will be available to store your luggage under the bus during your journey and will also retrieve them for you once you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. I like to tip the Cast Member assisting with my luggage a small amount for each bag to show my appreciation, even though it is not mandatory. I know they are grateful that their hard work is noticed!

I hope you have the merriest of holidays, Lucy! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
