I was just looking at the 2013 character dinings and noticed that it says that my dining plan will not be used at any of the character dinings, is this true??? The whole reason we got the dining plan was for the character dinings.

    Hi Lesley!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.

All Character Dining Experiences at Walt Disney World take place at Table Service dining locations. Most require 1 Table Service credit per person while a few, signature Character Dining experiences may require 2 Table Service credits per person.

The 2013 Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Dining Plan both include Table Service Meals per night of stay.  The only Dining Plan which does not include Table Service Credits or Character Dining is the Quick-Service Dining Plan. If you purchased the Quick Service Plan, or received it as part of a Free Dining Offer including a stay at a Disney Value Resort, you can choose to upgrade your plan and pay only the difference in price between the plans to do so.

To inquire about your package inclusions, and receive a quote to upgrade your plan, simply speak to a Cast Member at 407-939-7675.

If you have additional questions you'd like to discuss, feel free to write me back and let me know what resort, ticket type and dining plan type you have already reserved. I'd be happy to assist you further and help you ensure that you have just the package that you want and need in order to fulfill your family's Disney Dreams!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Lesley!
