We are looking for character dining for our trip in November, but everything is full! Is there anywhere in WDW that has a "waiting list?"

    Hi Shannon!

Most guests planning a Walt Disney World vacation do include at least one Character Dining Reservation which makes them the toughest reservation to get because of the numbers.

It is always recommended that a guest know their plans as soon as possible and get on the phone or on line at the 180 day mark to get dining reservations. It is always hard to have family disappointed when nothing can be found. There are no waiting lists at any of the Disney restaurants. But things happen and it is not always possible to know your plans 180 days out.

The best advice is to literally try daily looking for anything that might open up. Believe it or not they actually do and don't hesitate when you see an opening....grab it and get it reserved! Continue to do this even up to your vacation time. Some guests have found a hard to get reservation on the day of so it is not impossible. It might mean changing your plans to include a last minute dining time but for many it is worth the effort.

Remember that if you can't get a dining time there are many great character meet and greets you can get a FastPass for or just find in the parks. My favorite spot for the fabulous five characters is in the Epcot Character spot. Plus the characters are all in the parades and shows of the parks making them very visible.

Will be sending you pixie dust to get that reservation before November!
