Looking for a character dining for girls ages 4/7 who have done Ariel's grotto and breakfast with Minnie at Disneyland. What are similar places in disney world? Thanks

    Hi there Brandi,

My daughter, 6 years old, is right between the ages of your two daughters, so I am happy to help!  We live in California and Ariel's Grotto and The Plaza are among are favorite Character dining experiences.

When we travel to Walt Disney World, we always like to meet with the Princesses at either Cinderella's Royal Table or at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.  Both are amazing experiences but each is unique.  Cinderella's Royal Table is located inside of Cinderella's Castle and it's hosted by Cinderella, much like Ariel's Grotto is hosted by Ariel!  You will meet with Cinderella in the castle lobby and the other princesses will rotate in throughout the meal!  The Fairy Godmother is even in attendance!  Akershus is in Epcot, and is hosted by Belle!  The most beloved storybook princesses will show up to visit here as well so either experience is highly recommended!

For characters like Minnie, I think you'll enjoy Chef Mickey's which is located in the Contemporary Resort!  Here, the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto) all come to visit and the food is buffet style with something for everyone!  For something a little different, perhaps you might try Crystal Palace, which features Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore... or my favorite, Ohana Best Friends Breakfast at the Polynesian Resort.  This tropical themed experience features a family style meal with visits from Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto!  It is such a hit that it's on our must do list EVERy visit!

All of the experiences I mentioned are extremely popular and have a tendency to book up quickly!  Be sure to make your advanced dining reservations as soon as possible to insure availability!  You can do this online or by callinf (407) WDW-DINE.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
