    Looking for Character Dining Experiences

    Howdy, Stephen! 

    Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney! It may seem like January is light years away, but your out-of-this-world Disney vacation will be here before you know it! I’d love to share how you can have a rootin’ tootin’ time with those beloved characters at the Most Magical Place on Earth. 

    Gather ‘round! There are so many watering holes (restaurants) where you can chow down on some yummy food and drinks while being visited by characters like Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and other Disney friends. Stephen, I am more than happy to share what character dining experiences are out there for you to enjoy.  

    Magic Kingdom Park
    The Crystal Palace 
    Cinderella’s Royal Table (You’ll have to pre-pay for this most royal visit with princesses.) 

    EPCOT
    Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    Garden Grill Restaurant (This is one of my family’s favorites because of the lovable duo, Chip ‘n’ Dale.)

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios
    Hollywood & Vine (The theme changes throughout the year, so there’s always something new to look forward to!)

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
    Tusker House Restaurant (If you’re a fan of Donald Duck, he runs the show here, and you can even dance with the characters there.)

    Resort Hotels
    Cape May Cafe (Disney’s Beach Club Resort)
    Chef Mickey’s (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)
    ‘Ohana at breakfast (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort) 
    Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
    Topolino’s Terrace at breakfast (Disney’s Riviera Resort) 

    AN EXTRA GEM: In addition to the character meet-and-greet opportunities at the above table-service and all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants, there are also some fun highly themed spots to consider visiting. If you need to recharge your batteries while at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, mosey over to Toy Story Land’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ. While there are no character interactions inside, the food is plentiful and you will be immersed in Toy Story magic. Meanwhile, you can blast off into space at Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT for a truly unique experience that you’ll have to see to believe. 

    Don’t forget to make your advance dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival on the Walt Disney World website or in the My Disney Experience App. You are going to have the BEST time on your vacation, Stephen.
