We are looking for a character dining experience at Disneyland with 16 adults. Is there one you recommend, and can you help me reserve a time for us?

Hi Rudy! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

The only way to make a Dining Reservation at Disneyland Resort is online. Reservations open up 60 days out and popular locations can fill up fast. Even if your top pick of a Character Dining spot is full, don't give up! Keep checking, including up to 24 hours before your preferred date and time, as people's plans do change and cancelations happen.

Since you're a big group, it might be necessary to divide up into several reservations of smaller groups. However, when you arrive, you can request to be seated as close together as possible. It might take a little longer to accommodate you, but Cast Members always do their best to make magic happen. A good choice for a bigger group is Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel. I've eaten there with a very large group and it worked out great! This is an iconic Character Dining Experience with lots of variety in food choices and great Character interactions with some of your favorites. If you go for breakfast, try Goofy's Famous Peanut Butter Pizza.

There are two Character Dining options at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe, a buffet featuring Mickey Mouse and his pals, and Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose, a 3-course breakfast where you can meet some of your favorite Disney Princesses. The menu at Napa Rose features some fancier breakfast choices that adults might especially appreciate. Check out the menu on the Disneyland mobile app.

Inside Disneyland Park, you'll find Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn on Main Street, U.S.A., featuring a buffet and Minnie and her pals. The menu is made up of all your favorite classic breakfast items, and this spot has views of Sleeping Beauty Castle, which can't be topped! The setting is classic Victorian and an original to Disneyland Park.

You can't go wrong with any of these locations. Personally, I think Character Dining is the best way to meet your favorite Characters while relaxing with friends or family and enjoying a meal together.

I hope you're able to secure a special meal for your big group. If you're looking for Quick Service options with plenty of seating, try Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in Paradise Gardens at Disney California Adventure Park and Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Frontierland at Disneyland Park.

    Happy dining!
