Welcome back to planDisney, Nathan!
I can totally understand your considering switching your stay to
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These cabins--and that resort--are so unique; you are sure to love a stay there!
Nathan, rest assured--and rest quite comfortably--knowing that the cabins feature air conditioning. You'll find a thermostat in the cabin that will allow you to adjust both A/C and heat, depending on what you need for your particular time of year visit. So when you return from a day of park hopping or after hours of splashing and sliding at
Meadow Swimmin' Pool, you'll be able to cool down in your super-cool cabin.
There is nothing quite like waking up in your cabin and peaking out the window to see which wildlife has decided to start your day with a visit. Inside, you'll find everything you need for a cozy yet upscale stay during your vacation. We enjoyed the perfect kitchen setup for quick and easy meal prep, a time-saving dishwasher, the ice-making fridge, plus both the comfortable indoor areas as well as a lovely deck outside. The hustle and bustle of the parks feels worlds away, giving you the freedom to be as busy--or as relaxed--as you like each day. These cabins are such a treat!
We also really loved taking
Disney Water Transportation to and from
Magic Kingdom Park. After a day of park fun, hopping onto a water taxi to head back to your secluded home-away-from-home in the woods is an absolutely lovely way to end the day. Once "home", you can unwind, pop some popcorn, and settle in for a great Disney movie night or head to
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for a night of laughter and great food. Win-win!
Nathan, as you put together boatloads of pixie dust for your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
