Hiya Kim! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to personally send your question to me. I'm so excited to help!
EPCOT happens to be my favorite of all the Disney Parks, and I think it's the perfect place to celebrate your daughter's 21st birthday! The first thing I would suggest you do to start planning is to choose a hotel from the
Disney Resorts Collection. Staying at the Walt Disney World Resort comes with many benefits and conveniences. If you are only planning to visit EPCOT, I recommend choosing a resort that is in the EPCOT area to be especially close by.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort and
Disney's Beach Club Resort are both a very short walk to EPCOT's International Gateway which will land you right in the middle of the countries of the World Showcase. This is a huge perk and one of the reasons our family loves both of these resorts. These resorts also share the same pool,
Stormalong Bay, which offers poolside cocktail service, and it's an amazing way to spend some downtime.
Another tip I have for you is to pick up a reloadable Disney gift card at one of the shops in EPCOT. The
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing when you arrive and having one of these gift cards, which comes on a wristband, makes it so much more convenient to pay as you drink and eat your way around the countries. This festival offers many delicious sips and bites at the
Global Marketplaces and the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series offers a great lineup!
If you plan to celebrate with a special meal while you are at EPCOT, you can make
advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival date. There are so many great dining choices and I would choose based on what type of food is your daughter's favorite.
I hope these tips are helpful to get your vacation planning started! If you have more planning questions, please feel free to
send them to me at planDisney. I would love to help make sure your daughter has the most memorable birthday ever at
The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Cheers!
Lisa
