Hello Eleanor,
As the current
UK Mum here at planDisney, it's my utmost pleasure and delight to welcome you to this, our pixie-dusted place!
For me, dining at the
California Grill set on top of the iconic A-frame setting of
Disney's Contemporary Resort is an unmissable experience when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. When this delectable experience is then combined with the limited-time 50th Anniversary Celebration Menu as part of the
World's Most Magical Celebration, and your Disney Dining Credits on your Dining Promo Card, it becomes super magical indeed!
Eleanor, I'm more than happy to share that Guests are welcome to begin making
Advanced Dining Reservations at select restaurants up to 60-days ahead of time, and for those lucky Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, it's 60-days ahead of check-in, PLUS for an additional 10-days into their stay. It might be helpful for you to know that yes, some restaurants do require Guests to have a valid credit card linked to their
My Disney Experience account so the Advanced Dining Reservation can be both made, and held.
This simply means that a
fee may be charged to the credit card on file if Guests don't show up for their reservation, or if the reservation isn't cancelled within the stated period, which is usually 1-day in advance.
However, I think it's worth bearing in mind that your
credit card won't actually be charged, unless, of course, you don't show up or cancel in time!I hope that I've been able to provide a little zip-a-dee-doo-dah insight for you today Eleanor! If you should have any further questions concerning your August 2022 holiday plans to visit the most magical place on earth, then please do drop back to me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
