I am looking for a 'calendar' of special events WDW has. I plan visits at least a year in advance; I know of the Star Wars Weekends-- but where do I go to see what other events go on during the year? I need a rough timeframe to decide what to attend.

    Hi there, Barbara!

I think that planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is almost as fun as the actual vacation itself! There is a Special Events section on the Walt Disney World website that will show you all of the events that go on throughout the year. You can click on each one of the events to get more details on it. Most of the time, you will see the dates of the events listed there as well.

Fall is one of my very favorite times of the year to visit. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is going on right now and it's lots of fun for the whole family. If you like to taste food and drink from all over the world, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is starting real soon too.

I sure hope this helps you get a good start on your planning, Barbara. Please don't hesitate to write back in with any other questions you have.

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
