looking at the 2013 calendar for Feb..wondering what week you would suggest ? trying to avoid the Presidents week travellers , but also want Value rates on rooms and decent weather....what would you suggest?? Also heard Mardi Gras can affect crowd levels??

Hi Amber!
In my experience, I have always done better with respect to crowd levels and room rates in the first half of February before the School Vacation and Spring Break crowds descend upon Walt Disney World. Weather is going to be similar early versus late February so that is a tie. And finally, I think Mardi Gras impacts New Orleans way more than Orlando, unless of course, it coincides with the school vacation weeks and Spring Breaks. So, if you are thinking February, I would make it early February.
