I was just looking at the calander for (2/22-2/23/11 and see the the playhouse disney show will be closed. My kids will be crushed :( Are there still places the we can see the playhouse disney characters? Handy Manny and Oso mainly but any of them will do.

    Hello Jill!

I know your family is getting so excited about your upcoming trip to Disney World!!!  While I know you are not looking forward in telling your kids that Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage will be closed, I am VERY happy to inform you that your children will still be able to see and meet some of their favorite Disney characters!

Once you arrive at Hollywood Studios, pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park.  The Times Guide will tell you where and what time all the Disney characters will be during the day.  For more information about character greetings around Hollywood Studios, click HERE.

Another idea for your family is to book an Advanced Dining Reservation for breakfast or lunch at Hollywood and Vine.  This buffet-style meal is a character dining experience where your children will have the opportunity to meet Handy Manny, June, and Leo!!!  Our kids do this every year, and they LOVE it!!!  You are able meet Handy Manny, get an autograph/picture, and eat a great meal without standing in line!!!  It is the BEST!  To book your Advanced Dining Reservation online, click HERE.

I hope this helps you in your planning to Disney's Hollywood Studios!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a magical day!
