I've been looking into buying tickets for my trip to Disney on the website Floridatix they say the 14 day ultimate ticket expires 14 days after first use or december 31st 2011 is there a way of getting round this because i'll still be there in 2012. thanks

    Hi Beka,

It's lovely to see a question from someone from my home County!

Whilst I have never personally bought tickets from Floridatix, my family were at Walt Disney World for both Christmas & New Year last year and did not have any issues in using our 14-Day Ultimate tickets once we were in 2011 even though they were first used in 2010.

The small print on the Floridatix website states that: "Disney’s Ultimate Ticket expires 14 days from first day of use or 31 Dec of the year travelling. This ticket is for 2011 departures only. All tickets must be used for the first time in the same calendar year as printed on the ticket."

The wording is a little confusing as it says that the ticket expires 14 days from first date of use or 31 Dec of the year travelling but then goes on to say that the ticket must be used for the first time in the same calendar year as printed on the ticket.

I don't think that you will have any problems using 2011 Disney's Ultimate tickets in 2012 so long as they are used for the first time in 2011 but would recommend that you give Floridatix a call to confirm prior to purchasing just to be on the safe side.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
