    Looking at buying 100 pts to begin DVC mem. Plan on initial use as a way to stay a couple nights at Disney before week at off-campus condo. We are fam. of 8. If buy 50 more in future will we be able to get them at same home resort - AK?

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is a beautiful Disney Vacation Club property.  The views of the exotic animals on the savannas are amazing, and the villas are absolutely lovely and spacious!

    In the future, you should be able to add on to your membership at the same home resort; however, this will depend on the availability of points at that particular resort at the time that you decide to add on.  There is often availability at many of the resorts; however, there may be times when there is not availability at the particular home resort you want.  The best way to determine if there is availability at the home resort you want when you are ready to add on to your Disney Vacation Club membership is to call your Disney Vacation Club Guide, or to call 1-800-800-9100 or 407-566-3100 to be connected with a Disney Vacation Club Guide.  The Disney Vacation Club Guide will help you to determine if their are points available at the resort you want and can then walk you through the add on process.

    I hope that this information helps with your decision, Elizabeth.  It will be truly magical the first time you hear those words as you enter your Disney Vacation Club home resort, "welcome home."
