I was looking at buying Disney Gift Cards at our local Sam's Club. Will I be able to use these in the park? Also, we have not purchased the dining package. Will credit cards or the Gift Cards be accepted for payment?

    Hey, David!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Gift Cards are like Magic Money because they are enchanted with no fees, they never expire and can be reloaded…see what I mean by magic.

You may use your Disney Gift Card for almost anything at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort including paying for parking at the theme parks, merchandise purchases and food at carts and restaurants. Disney Gift Cards may be purchased from a variety of places including grocery stores, Disney Stores and within Disney Resorts. You may even buy them online.

A Disney Dining Plan is a special benefit for Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels and is not necessary to enjoy the delicious food on property. If you do not have a dining plan then you may use credit cards or Disney Gift Cards as payment for your meals.

Disney Dad Tip: While you are planning your Disney vacation, check out the Awaken Summer at Walt Disney World Resort. These ideas and suggestions will help make your trip unforgettable.
David, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
