Hi Maurice, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! A Disney vacation during the Christmas holiday season is the absolute best! Lower temperatures, special after hours events like
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and the list goes on. I’m sure you know all of that, that’s why you’re getting an Annual Pass! Now let’s talk about how we can make park reservations during your visit!
As you may be aware,
Annual Passholders are required to
make reservations when visiting a theme park and there is typically a limit to how many park reservations you can have. But lucky for you, when you stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort (or any Disney Resort hotels for that matter), park reservations during those stays
do not count towards the 5 reservations that the Disney Sorcerer Pass or Incredi-Pass are allotted.
I HIGHLY recommend making those park reservations well in advance as late December is a popular time of year and you’ll want to make sure you secure access to theme parks! Don’t worry though, making those reservations won’t activate your Annual Passes. They’ll activate the first time you visit the theme parks using the pass as your entry ticket.
Maurice, I just wanted to remind you though that while we as DVC members can purchase the Disney Sorcerer Pass, this pass
does have blackout dates that would coincide with your stay. So, you’ll want to purchase an Incredi-Pass to make sure you can make full use of your Annual Pass.
Wishing you safe travels and a fun vacation this upcoming December! If you have any further questions about making the most out of your membership, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
