I reached out to a Force Sensitive Cast Member to inquire more. Unfortunately, to avoid detection by the First Order, deliveries directly from
Savi’s,
Droid Depot, Batuu, and the theme parks have been restricted to international destinations. Guests from the United Kingdom are still advised to ship from either the Guest Shipping Station at Disney Spring’s
Marketplace Co-Op or offsite at UPS or FedEx. You may be able to ship a fully packaged and labeled lightsaber or droid from your
Disney Resort hotel, but there are no guarantees. In either case, since the prices are subject to change, I wasn’t able to find out how much it would cost for you to ship using any of these services. You would need to speak to a Cast Member at the location and provide your shipping details so they could provide you with the specific pricing.
I wish I had an estimate to share with you, Michael, but I hope this answer was still helpful. You can always ask a Cast Member once you arrive before making a purchase so that you can make a more informed decision. If you aren’t able to ship either, I’ve heard that a lot of Guests from the UK have great success traveling with their lightsabers and droids onto their flights.
