Welcome to planDisney, Angie! It’s great to have you hEAR planning ahead for a Magical December!
Angie, one of the reasons I keep coming back to the
Walt Disney World Resort over and over again is because there is truly something for everyone of every age. Whether it’s picking out their favorite Mickey shaped snack,
floating over Neverland or
splashing at the pool, I love that both my kids and their grandmother can be delighted and experience the same joy together and it sounds like your trip will be full of multigenerational fun!
Angie, to your question about a final cost for your trip, you’ll want to consider a few things before that can be provided.
First, are you planning to stay on property at the Walt Disney World Resort? If it fits in your budget and overall plan, I always recommend
staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. I love being surrounded by the Magic for the entirety of my stay and the
complimentary transportation to the theme parks and
Disney Springs helps to keep me stress free! There are options for all budgets and differing room configurations. If you haven’t yet decided, I would encourage you to
explore HERE and then come on back to planDisney with any follow up questions or if you’re in need of recommendations!
Next, let’s talk about
tickets to the theme parks. Before a final cost can be tallied, you’ll need to determine the number of park days you’ll be visiting and if you’d like
the option to visit more than one park per day. Angie, if I’m coming for a quick getaway, I will often save money by visiting one park per day and concentrating my energy into enjoying all there is to offer there. However, when we have a longer trip, we like the flexibility of the park-hopper ticket.
Angie, after you’ve decided on a few of these specifics, you’re ready to book! So that you can get both a final cost and a breakdown per guest, I would recommend
calling into the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. Here you can speak with a Cast Member who can book your entire vacation package. If you’d like to do a little math prior to that, you can always build your vacation online before calling.
Angie, I hope this helps as you begin your planning journey. From our favorite
Table Service restaurants to the best shopping all around the Walt Disney World Resort, we here at planDisney we love to talk about anything and everything park related, so please come back with any future questions.
Wishing you a vacation fit for a storybook,
Lauren
