Looking to bring our 2 1/2 from Jan 22nd to 27th We recently lost our 3 month old baby, her baby brother. And our family and friends want to give us a nice experience. Looking to stay on the property and maybe a character breakfast or dinner. Thanks

Hi Jeffrey. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

From each of us here at the planDisney team, we want to extend our deepest condolences for your loss. It's inconceivable to imagine what you and your family have gone through recently. It sounds like you have a great support system surrounding you with loving family and friends to lean on.

Since your visit is fast approaching, let's go over everything you will need to know for your upcoming stay.

    • Hotel: The Walt Disney World Resort offers three levels of accommodations as part of the Disney Resort Collection. Depending on your budget, you can choose from Deluxe, Moderate, or Value stays. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort offers deluxe accommodations and is conveniently located a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom Park. Judging by the age of your daughter, I have a good feeling you will be spending a lot of time there. If Disney character theming is high on your list, I would consider a stay at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. Your daughter will fall in love with the larger-than-life décor all over this property. I did take a peek at availability during your date range and there are plenty of hotel options available for that time. You'll be able to choose the resort that best works for your family.
    • Tickets & Theme Park Reservations: You will need to purchase theme park tickets for the number of days you plan to attend a park. For example, if you decide on a 5-day park ticket, you will be able to visit any of the four theme parks on five different days during your stay. Disney does require you to make reservations to the park you intend to visit prior to arrival. You will be able to secure these reservations once your tickets are purchased by using your My Disney Experience. As of today, all theme parks are available during the dates you are planning on attending.
    • Dining: Once your vacation package is reserved, you will want to decide on where you plan to eat. Character meals are the perfect way to get an interactive experience with your favorites. Definitely consider Chef Mickey's for either breakfast or dinner. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all make appearances dressed in their creative chef outfits. We took my daughter when she was three and she had an absolute blast seeing them all. This is not the easiest reservation to obtain, but dining availability is constantly changing. You'll need to keep checking the My Disney Experience App to secure a table.
Jeffrey, you have two options to book your vacation. You can go directly to the website and build a vacation package on your own. The website is very user-friendly and you shouldn't have any problem. With that said, I would recommend you call (407) 939-5277 and speak to a Cast Member directly. This option may take slightly longer, but with how close your vacation dates are, I want to ensure that the planning stage is flawless. The Cast Member will be able to take care of everything for you.

I hope this experience ends up being a magical one for your family.
