Hello there! I am looking to bring my family down to Disney this August and have a PIN CODE for 30 percent off a moderate room. What happens if Disney offers a free dining plan between now and my trip? Do I get the difference credited back to me?

It's always nice to get a bit of a savings on your vacation, Scott.  Lucky you! I would advise you to go ahead and book your trip, making use of the discount offer that has been extended to you.  If and when Disney offers a free dining promotion, you would simply call 407-WDW-STAY to inquire about availability for your travel dates.  If there is indeed availability, you can cancel your original reservation and book with the free dining code.  Both discounts cannot be applied to your package, so you'll need to figure out which of the two equates to the more significant savings for your family.  I hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
