Looking at a breakfast reservation at 7:20 AM. We're staying at one of the resorts, but I read that the shuttles don't operate until 45 minutes before the parks open. Are there any other options to arrive at our destination? Other than drive?

    Howdy Leigh!

I love to start my days at Walt Disney World with a breakfast reservation at one of the delightful restaurants on property. Let's discuss how to get you to that early reservation.

Although Disney transportation from the hotels to the theme parks officially starts rolling 45 minutes before park opening, it is not uncommon for Disney resort hotels to have separate arrangements for guests who have early breakfast reservations. On the day before your breakfast reservation, go to the Guest Services desk at your Disney hotel. Inquire about the availability of an early breakfast bus. The Cast Member there will advise you where you can board a bus to the location of your breakfast reservation.

If there is no Disney transportation available to deliver you to the restaurant you need to reach, I recommend that you arrange for an inexpensive car service to pick you up at your home resort. They will then drive you directly to your destination. I have done that many times. It is a speedy, stress-free way to get to breakfast early in the morning.

Let us know if you need any additional advice as you pull together your plans for your vacation. We'd be happy to help you in any way.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
