Hi there! we are looking at booking our trip to WDW 5 days can't decide from Caribbean, Coronado or spend a little more for the Beach 2 adults 2 kids(2 &2). can you walk to HS from Caribbean or is it worth paying more for beach so we can walk?

    Hello Martine!

It is not possible to walk to any of the parks from the Caribbean Beach resort. While Hollywood Studios is close, you would need to cross busy multi-laned roads without sidewalks and it just wouldn't be safe. At both Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs you will need to take a bus to get to your destination.

I have stayed at all three resorts you've listed as possibilities,a nd while they are all wonderful in their own way, the Beach Club is by far my favorite. You can walk to Epcot in about five minutes, and it is possible to walk t Hollywood Studios although it is a bit farther - probably about fifteen minutes. However, there is boat transportation that will take you to the Studios, Epcot and the Boardwalk.

One of the main reasons I love the Beach Club so much is because of the pool - Stormalong Bay. We just returned from a trip and my kids would have spent all day at the pool if they could have. There is a huge sand dune area that is great for kids (and adults too!). The deepest area is two feet, and the entire bottom is sand covered. There are areas where kids can play in the sand and build castles as well. There are also games and prizes mostly every day at the pool.

If it is within your budget, I would highly recommend giving the Beach Club a try. Between the ease of transportation to two out of the four parks, a great pool and proximity to the Boardwalk with its entertainment and restaurants, it truly is one of my favorite resorts on property.

    Have fun planning your vacation!
