We are looking at booking a trip for August 2026, and are looking at Value reports. With the Free Dining promotion they come with a ‘quick service meal’ and I was wondering if these would be credited to your account for the full stay from the start?

Hi Alice and welcome to planDisney!

The Free Dining & Drinks in 2026! offer is such a fantastic deal and one that my family always try to take advantage of each and every time that we book our next holiday to Walt Disney World. This is our favourite offer because it really gives us peace of mind knowing that a good chunk of our food and drink is taken care of before we even arrive.

As you quite rightly say, if you book a Hotel+Ticket package, by 5th November 2025, for selected arrivals in 2026, staying at a participating Value Resort hotel, you will receive 1 Free Quick-Service Meal including 1 non-alcoholic or, alcoholic drink, per person, per night's stay.

Once you have checked in at your Disney Resort hotel, you will be able to see all of your issued meal entitlements in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply select "Check Dining Plan" in the "Hotel Reservations" section.

To give you an example, my family (myself, my husband and our 8-year old daughter) stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort for 14-nights, this August and on arrival, we had a total of 28 Adult Quick-Service Meal entitlements and 14 Child Quick-Service Meal entitlements available to redeem.

Your Quick-Service Meals can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the day that you checkout. This offers great flexibility as you might want to use 2 Quick Service Meals, per person, during one day and none the next.

Top Tip - My favourite Quick-Service dining locations are The Polite Pig at Disney Springs, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie at EPCOT and Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes at Animal Kingdom.

I hope that this has answered your question, Alice. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the booking, or, planning, of your 2026 trip. You can even ask me a question directly if you would like a UK perspective on anything at all.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
