I am looking at booking a stay at a Disney resort for 5 days but am only going to be in the parks for 3 days. If I get the dining add on will that cover all 5 days or just the three at the parks?

    Hi Teresa,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am excited to hear that you are considering booking a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you are going to have a magical time.

When you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, there is quite a bit of flexibility that comes with your package. A package includes a Resort Hotel Room, Theme Park Tickets and if you wish, one of the Disney Dining Plans.  In order to add a Disney Dining Plan to your Reservation, you will also need to add at least a Two-Day Theme Park Ticket.  Since you would like to visit a Theme Park for three days, you will be able to add the Disney Dining Plan.

The Disney Dining Plan Works differently than the Theme Park Tickets.  If you choose to purchase one of the Disney Dining Plans, it will be added to the entire length of your stay for every guest in your party.  Your entitlements are calculated per night of your stay, so what that means is if you are staying for 5 days (4 nights) with the Disney Dining Plan each person on your Reservation will have 4 Table-Service Entitlements, 4 Quick-Service Entitlements and 8 Snacks to use throughout the length of your stay.

I hope that helps answer your question, Teresa.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always here to assist with your planning!
