Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Deidre. We're so happy to hear you're beginning to plan another Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
As a mom of three, I totally understand your concern. When we became a family of five, I realized that most restaurants and hotels are designed for families of four... Luckily, families of five (or more!) have several options when choosing a
Disney Resort hotel!
You'll be pleased to know that your family can be accommodated in a Royal Guest Room at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for your upcoming stay. These rooms accommodate up to four Guests, plus one child under age 3 in a crib. Royal Guest Rooms are an amazing way to keep your little ones immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling, even after they've left the theme parks! With playful nods to beloved Disney animated films and headboards that light up with fireworks against an evening sky, your whole family is sure to have a magical stay!
Complimentary cribs are available at any Disney Resort hotel. Most of the cribs are actually standard-sized Pack 'n Play playards, which I find more convenient to use. There are a few perfect places in a Royal Guest Room where you can set it up for your littlest Mouseketeer!
Once my youngest is over the age of 3, we'll no longer "fit" in most Standard Disney Resort hotel rooms. I love the 5th Sleeper Rooms at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside because these rooms can accommodate families like mine and the best part is, they're super affordable!
I hope this was helpful, Deidre. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort with your little ones in tow!
