Hi Kendall!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Eee! Planning a last-minute voyage to paradise over spring break sounds like a blast! In my opinion, Disney Cruise Line is the perfect vacation because there's something onboard for everyone to enjoy. Not only will you have all the
fun activities just steps away throughout the day, you'll be sailing to exotic ports of call, too!
Choosing a Bahamian or Caribbean itinerary will be a perfect spring break escape from the (still) chilly midwestern weather! Disney Cruise Line does not require Guests to have passports when they set sail from a U.S. port and return to the same U.S. port. Instead, Guests may use a government-issued I.D. (like a driver's license) and their state-issued birth certificate as proof of citizenship. Younger cruisers under the age of 16 who are traveling with their parents may bring a state-issued birth certificate as their identification. The
Passports & Travel Documentation page on Disney Cruise Line's website will give you more information about the appropriate documentation needed to sail.
I know you might not be able to get passports for a last-minute spring break voyage this year, but I definitely recommend thinking about getting them for any future voyages! There are so many
benefits to having a passport while sailing with Captain Mickey. If for some unlikely reason there's an emergency while visiting a port of call, you and your pirate crew will be able to quickly fly back home!
Kendall, it is so exciting to hEAR that you might be planning a high-seas adventure! Please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
