Hi Chris,
Welcome to planDisney! While
The Swan Reserve isn’t part of the
Disney Resorts Collection, it is still a great choice for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It’s centrally located in the EPCOT resort area, super close to EPCOT as well as Hollywood Studios. You can walk to both parks or utilize the complimentary Friendship Water Taxi. Additionally, there are tons of restaurants available in the Swan & Dolphin complex to choose from. My family and I have stayed at the Swan & Dolphin during conferences in the past and we really enjoyed our stay at this Good Neighbor hotel.
Good Neighbor hotels are properties near Disney World that offer some pretty magical Walt Disney World Resort benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry. Swan & Dolphin properties are special because they not only offer Early Entry, but they also offer
Extended Evening Hours on select nights at certain Disney parks. Check the
Disney World Hours & Events Calendar to see when Extended Evening Hours are scheduled so that you can plan your evenings accordingly.
Additionally, as a Good Neighbor hotel your stay at the Swan Reserve will grant you access to purchasing
Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days prior to your arrival date and you’ll be able to make dining reservations and book
Enchanting Extras for your entire stay as early as 60 days prior to arrival. A few of my favorite dining experience for you to consider would be
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ over in Disney Springs and
Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom. Both locations couldn’t be more different, but they offer great food and a wonderful experience. These restaurants (and all Disney World parks and Disney Springs) are super easy to get to when you utilize the complimentary transportation offered by the Swan & Dolphin.
I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming stay, Chris. If you need any additional help with planning we’ll be here ready to help. We’ll see ya real soon!
Your pal,
Sakinah
