Hi! We are looking at booking our Disney vacation during the week of Thanksgiving. Is this a good time? We went last June and were miserable trying to get through the crowds with a toddler. We are also considering the 2nd week in October. ???

    Lynne:

If you were "miserable" in the summer crowd, you'd pull out your hair during Thanksgiving Week!  The crowds are thick, albeit the weather helps you bear it better!

If I were in your shoes and had a choice between Thanksgiving and October, I'd go with your October dates, hands-down.  Not only will the weather be just as delightful, the crowds will be thinner and your resort rate will be less!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
